On Veteran's Day 2006, we had a special visit from George Taylor, who is better known on the Railfan.net forums as "Moose the Caboose". George is a wonderful modeler of hand crafted caboose's (cabeese?). We were fortunate to be able to inspect one of his master pieces as he brought the Wabash caboose he made for Howard Pike. It is always a treat to have live steamers such as George visit. Here ae some photo's of that special day.

If you build it right, it will pull like this. We calculated there was about 2.5 tons behind her. Yes, I said TONS. And we didn't have to knurl the drivers either.

You can almost smell the coal smoke. That Atlantic was really barking up this grade. No slippage either. You can see our guest of honor was enjoying his ride.
I hope you enjoyed this brief look at our visit by George Taylor. Peace be with you and keep the coal fires buring. Bobby
