Buckingham Central RR & Bob Dean Supply support the Cancer Run,  April 28, 2006
Occasionally, we in the hobby get an opportunity to give back to the community. This was the second year in a row that we were asked to team up with Bob Dean Supply, to raise money for cancer research. It was a lot of work but well worth it. Many Thanks to the Bob Dean Supply crew, Bob Dean and his lovely wife.  Pete, Bruce, Brian and yours truly were there to represent the BCRR. We had planned on using Bruce's Galloping Goose and Brians 0-4-0. But Brians engine ran so well that the goose spent most of the event on the siding.
Everyone wanted to ride the trains. Here is one eager young lady handing over her dollar.......well actually she wanted to keep the dollar and the ticket. LOL

Brian's 0-4-0 tank engine was the work horse for the day. The little engine was very much up to the task and it exceeded all our expectations.
